We specialise in the Follicular Unit Extraction technique of hair transplants also known as FUE. The FUE method is now, by far the most advanced hair replacement procedure available. It’s an exacting, highly technical minimally invasive procedure with remarkable, natural-looking results. This leading-edge method of hair transplantation is highly technical and the most effective way of getting maximum value out of every donor hair.
During an FUE transplant, a highly experienced doctor extracts hair follicles from the donor area, typically the back of the neck, using a specialised extraction instrument. Follicles are then transferred to the recipient area on your scalp and implanted using a powerful stereo microscope in groups of one to four hairs. Over time the newly placed hair will grow and look perfectly natural.
FUE is performed under local anaesthetic, has little discomfort, even when large sessions are performed. There is no need for stitches and recovery time is fast, allowing the individual to resume their normal lifestyle with little inconvenience.
DHI extraction could be referred to as a micro-FUE and only punches with diameter of 1mm or less are used to extract hairs one by one from the donor area. With the DHI Direct Technique each follicle is separately placed directly to the affected area with the DHI implanter, the specially designed tool for hair transplant and hair loss treatment.
With DHI implanter, doctors can control the depth, the direction and the angle, each graft is placed.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) PRP therapy is a simple and natural non-surgical treatment. PRP therapy can be benefical for treatment of some types of hair loss in both men and women. It involves injecting your own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into your scalp, which naturally encourages the growth factors in your blood to stimulate hair growth. Helping to restore natural looking hair, the end result is a fuller, healthier looking head of hair.
Mesotherapy hair loss treatment for men and women is a vitamin boost injection into the scalp to help improve its blood circulation. Better circulation in the scalp means hair follicles are better nourished, which can improve hair re-growth.
Almost 50% of males find it difficult to grow a full, healthy beard or sideburns with even growth and no patchy areas. Follicle Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant is the definitive treatment for such conditions. In the first stage, a suitable donor site is identified. Follicle units are extracted with the extractor machine.
Each unit consists of 1-4 hair follicles. In the second stage, under local anaesthesia, small incisions are made on the area and the grafts are placed in the incised area.
An Eyebrow is a small part of the face but has the power to change the whole look of a person. Losing your eyebrows can dramatically affect your facial appearance, and can have deeply wounding psychological effects on the person.
With single hair grafts, prepared under the microscope, eyebrows can be created and thin eyebrows can be made denser with our eyebrow restoration procedure.
Donor hair is extracted from the back of the scalp, using the FUE technique. It is then prepared under a microscope. After this, the donor hair is inserted into thinning areas in the eyebrows, or around the whole brow area to create natural looking eyebrows using a 23 gauge hypodermic needle under a high magnification microscope. This is a very delicate procedure, requiring perfect placement of the hairs into tiny incisions that are angled at just the right direction and positioned to mimic natural growth. No scalpels are needed and no stitches are required. The procedure is 100% micro-surgical. Patients will regain their natural growing eyebrows with no side effects.

Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) is a type of hair transplant procedure carried out which offers a number of benefits compared to other methods.
During FUE, each individual follicle is collected one by one from the donor site and then transplanted directly into the hair loss area.
A tiny, circular tool is used to extract these donor hairs from the donor site, making a very small incision in the skin around the follicle. As each individual hair is collected, a small hole around 1mm in size is left which heals over in the following days.
FUE is considered a very new type of transplant procedure as it involves the surgeon removing the follicles one at a time, a method which requires a great deal of skill and expertise.
In other type of hair transplant, larger patches are removed together which are then held for the surgeon to graft onto the patient, one at a time.
Although all types of modern hair transplant only remove small patches from the donor site which won’t be missed, with other techniques such as FUT, there will be a small linear scar.
This won’t affect hair regrowth in the nearby follicles but for any individuals choosing to wear their hair extremely short, the scar may be visible.
With FUE there’s no visible linear scarring, making it a better choice for anyone who thinks they might want to wear their hair short, or who is self-conscious about having a tiny scar on their hairline.
FUE only leaves minute, dot-like scars where each follicle was individually removed. These are virtually impossible to see, even when the hair is cropped very close to the head.
The recovery time for FUE is usually around 6-8 days and as you might expect, due to the removal of hair follicles, some swelling of the head typically occurs. This is only temporary and will resolve completely.
Recovery following a FUE procedure tends to be quicker than for other types of hair transplant, and there’s less chance of side effects such as scalp numbing, which can occur following an FUT procedure and last up to six months.
After the procedure is completed you will see your new hairs and the shape of what your hairline will eventually be. However, these new hairs will normally fall out within a fortnight.
This is entirely normal and is just part of the overall growth cycle. Within 3-6 months, new permanent hairs will start to grow on the site although it can take up to 12 months for the full effect to be visible.
